THE EGNATIA MOTORWAY WELCOMES THE OLYMPIC FLAME

The Egnatia Motorway respectfully welcomes today the Olympic Flame.

On the way to its final destination, Sochi, Russia, which is the city hosting the Winter Olympic Games 2014, the Olympic Flame will travel along the Motorway A29 – Siatista – Koromilia (following the Motorway’s direction from Kastoria to Grevena) and, then, along the Egnatia Motorway following the route Grevena – Ioannina – Metsovo.

The flame’s “journey” along the Egnatia Motorway will end at Panagia IC (towards Kalambaka).

The Olympic Flame will spread its light along the Egnatia Motorway and its Vertical Axes over a length of more than 200km.
